An exciting performance of Vivaldi’s ever-popular masterpiece with orchestra and youthful soloists. Also included in the programme are a short, seldom heard piece by Telemann and ‘Christmas Day!’ – three well-known Christmas carols arranged and orchestrated by Gustav Holst.

STAINER’S CRUCIFIXION

Saturday 9th April 2022

MILTON ABBEY 7.30

This Saturday, after a wait of 2 years, we are finally able to perform the Crucifixion!
To add to the excitement we will be singing in the glorious acoustic of Milton Abbey and using the Abbey organ at the west end and a chamber organ at the east end!
Wine and soft drinks will be available in the interval, followed by short works by
Victoria, Viadana, Mozart, Brahms, Stravinsky, Vaughan Williams, Shephard & Bullard.
